In the film Maghmour (Submerged), we take you on an exploratory journey into the depths of the Red Sea in search of sunken human heritage. Accompanying a team of researchers and explorers, we dive into the deep to discover submerged vessels and cargoes that narrate the history of trade and human connection. Throughout this journey, we document the challenges of underwater excavation, showcasing the methodologies of research and documentation, whilst emphasising the importance of preserving this maritime legacy as an integral part of our national heritage.
