BIOGHAPHY
Ziyad Alsayigh is a filmmaker, visual artist, and film photographer. He began his career as a documentary filmmaker operating as a one-man show—a hands-on experience that profoundly shaped and developed his diverse cinematic craft. Expanding his expertise across the industry, Ziyad has worked as an editor on commercial projects and served as a Director of Photography and Story Editor for films and television programs with MBC. His cinematic portfolio spans both narrative and documentary formats, with notable works including The Al-Auja Mission, Shadeed: Bakhit bin Bathan, and Othman in the Vatican, which won Best Documentary at the Saudi Film Festival. Bringing a comprehensive audiovisual approach to his projects, Ziyad also composes original soundtracks for films and served as the Music Supervisor for the series Fursan Qurayh. As a visual artist, he has created commissioned installations for the Heritage Commission, including The Girl of Thaj, Kurai'a and the Wind, and the Africa Day project, alongside independent visual works such as the Old Jeddah Port and the Deep House art project.
